Quality Assurance Officer City fringe location $40,000 - $45,000 + Super Large International company Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of apparel and textiles in the world with over one hundred years experience servicing customers in the US, EU, South Africa and throughout Asia Pacific region. The Australian operations based in Sydney continue to generate double digit growth as more customers are attracted by the delivery capabilities and track record. Reporting to the Product Development / QA Manager, You will be responsible for ensuring ????? ????? international standards and customer specific, product specifications across a variety of apparel categories. This will include intimates, sleepwear and children’s clothing. In addition, you will be responsible for the associated documentation from first fit through to full production for audit purposes. Liaising with internal and external customers, this highly visible and autonomous position will see you building strong professional relationships with customers, buying groups, production team and senior management. Ideally you will have several years experience as a quality assurance officer in the apparel industry and have knowledge of quality assurance systems, policies and procedures. Eager to learn, you will be a logical, problem solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts both written and verbal. You will be proactive in you approach, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. A strong understanding of technical drawings and cross cultural sensitivities, you will be motivated by the autonomy and ability to make this your own.
