Join one of Australias national iconic retailers and take the first step towards building your career in Merchandise Planning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an analytical orientation to develop skills in merchandise planning and be an integral member of the head office buying team.
Joining their enthusiastic and creative Buying/Merchandising team, you will report to a seasoned Merchandise Planner and be responsible for an array of duties including:
allocating and adjusting inventories to demand patterns,
determining store stock quantities and assortment,
monitoring ????? ????? all local / overseas orders through extensive liaison with freight companies and handling all the associated administration,
liasing with stores in order to resolve stock/sales issues.
As someone with outstanding analytical, organisational and Excel skills, youll be looking for a role with variety and the opportunity to develop a career path within a fast paced retail planning and buying environment. You may be sitting within a consumer goods wholesaler, or a retail head office, and be looking to join a growing company with a fun and supportive team.
