Junior Buyer: Giftware/Toys/Outdoor Innovative and dynamic Australian Iconic Retailer - Great brands Being an integral part of a cohesive Buying team Circa. $65k Package Joining the buying team of this highly successful and fun iconic Australian retailer, youll play a significant role in their continued success.The role will focus on the assessment, development and selection of products that will continue to build the Companys brand, whilst offering ????? ????? product selection and sound value for money for its customers. Staying abreast of local and international trends, youll develop sound commercial relationships with current and new suppliers, and negotiate the best possible deals whilst ensuring ????? ????? delivery parameters are maintained. Youll also be actively involved in promotional activities associated with your product group, and work closely with their planner to ensure inventory levels are accurate.In addition to your creative product selection skills, youll be commercially astute and a tough negotiator. You will also have the ability to build range and assortment plans for your business, with the correct price architecture for the marketplace based on market research and profile of the customer. A very high focus will be on achieving the main KPIs of the business; Sales, Gross Profit, Stockturn & GMROI. With a background in retail buying, you will currently be an Assistant Buyer looking for the next step.
